Question : My doctor says that red ginseng is bad for the liver. I’m wondering if that is also the case with Yongjinsam.

I’m hesitant about purchasing because my doctor says that red ginseng may be bad for my liver. I would like to know this is the case with Yongjinsam.

Answer : Long-term intake of red ginseng manufactured by processing all of its roots, including its rootlets may not be good for your liver. However, Yongjinsam is a specially manufactured red ginseng product based on the patented technology using 6-year-old quality domestic Korean ginseng only (excluding rootlets), and there are no side effects whatsoever on the liver and any other organs.
